About Rebecca

Rebecca Catherine Gray is a classical realist artist. Rebecca has received honors from the Art Renewal Center, Grand Central Academy, Hudson River Fellowship, and Olivet Nazarene University. Rebecca's artworks are in private collections and are shown in galleries across the United States.
Rebecca teaches drawing, painting, anatomy and color theory from her own demonstrations and her extensive personal collection of classical art reference. She is currently a faculty member at the College for Creative Studies in Detroit, MI and formerly at the Flint Institute of Art.
Rebecca has made several trips to paint and study in Florence, Italy. In 2015, Rebecca completed the four-year program at Grand Central Atelier in New York under the instruction of Jacob Collins, Colleen Barry, and Scott Waddell. Rebecca has also studied with Jura Bedic at the Florence Academy of Art, and Juliette Aristides in Seattle, WA.
